Where Did All the Showtime Dancers Go?

Where Did All the Showtime Dancers Go?

Last Saturday, dancers from the It's Showtime collective gathered in a sun-filled Greenpoint film studio to teach a class in FlexN, a street dance style pioneered on New York City's streets, and sometimes its subways. […] Saturday before the class, they were performing at the Kingsland Wildflowers Festival, celebrating wildflower fields on the roofs of buildings. Dozens of dancers have now participated in It's Showtime, a project of the nonprofit Dancing in the Streets, which in 2015 was the beneficiary of de Blasio's fund to get Showtime dancers off the subway and into the "schools, stage, studio, and the screen."
