2026 WE ARE NATURE Season Closing Event

Noo Arts is thrilled to host our long-time collaborator and mentor for an intimate lecture and conversation inside the tepee @ Last Frontier NYC.

Fritjof Capra is an Austrian-born American physicist, systems theorist, and author who pioneered the integration of theoretical physics, biology, and social systems into a holistic, ecological worldview. Renowned for his seminal works—including The Tao of Physics (1975), The Web of Life (1996), and The Systems View of Life (2014)—Capra advocates for a paradigm shift from reductionist scientific models to environmental systems thinking, which views nature as an interconnected web of self-organizing networks rather than a machine made of isolated parts. His work heavily emphasizes "ecological literacy," demonstrating that humanity’s urgent social and environmental crises are interconnected systemic issues that can only be resolved by aligning modern technologies, institutions, and lifestyles with the self-regenerative, sustainable principles of living systems.

As a final bookend to our current WE ARE NATURE season, we’ll be playing our guests out with another solo set by musical powerhouse Katy Gunn, who also opened the ball on our rooftops back in May.
