‍Wrap up Climate Week NYC in celebration of our city’s waterways, fortifying our wild resilience with community-based care and wielding wonder for our future despite all odds.

‍ Bringing together water activists, community stewards, neighbors, artists and friends, we’ll mark the end of Climate Week with what matters every day: a celebration of collective intelligence and mycelial networks of what is worth transforming and what is worth fighting for.

‍We’ll fill our cups, literally and in spirit, in collective song with Mycelium Choral Project; real and virtual banquet installations by Everything Good Studio and Liz Ensz; and a meditation in deep time and new futures with Lisa Bloodgood along the Nature Walk to celebrate the ecology and present stewardship of Newtown Creek and the wider water work of NYC. On our Kingland Wildflower roofs, a scent-based immersive activation by Shahira Hammad and massive mycelium-themed projections by Forager. At sunset, danceable tunes by our favorite mycophile DJ, Winslow Porter.

‍A co-production by Holes in the Wall Collective and Noo Arts in collaboration with Newtown Creek Alliance, this event is part of Imagined Futures: This Must be the Place, connecting you deeper to 7 waterways across the city through interactive scavenger hunts and community programming.
